The new Smells Like Facebook with new Facebook layout is on the way. As you can see in this blog, the header has been changed to the new layout of Facebook page. But it’s not ready yet to be released for public. There are some parts that need further considerations, like the new Facebook icons beside the search box. I’m planning to put a small RSS icon in there and some another icons to subtitute the Facebook one, but I still can’t make appropiate image since I’m suck at drawing. 
So, just stay tune to see the updates of the new Smells Like Facebook version. Any ideas are welcomed 
PS: Sorry I can’t answer all of your questions and complaints right now. These deadlines are killing me

Hi … first off GREAT JOB on the them it looks amazing and works great to. I have a problem tho I installed it with buddypress and the BuddyPress Template Pack … it looks great but none of the links work. When you mouse over a link it shows the correct link but when you click nothing happens =( … any ideas on how I can get the links to work? I would really love to use your template!

ok ive edited the old version and make it similar to the you have now. hope you dont mind me asking a few questions.
1. how to add the gravatar on each postings?
2. it doesnt look much the same when using IE, how to be compatible to IE aswell?

Simple suggestion Nazieb! and a very simple one that you can do in styles.css file.
see the category blue buttons on top (next to the plus sign)
notice that tiny distance that you have between the buttons and white background beneath?
facebook fixed that, it’s not there anymore, they’ve connected them
also the distance between one button and another is slightly smaller on facebook.
also, still in the same area, if you could more define that line that separates the white background from the gray think bar on top, it would look awesome.
Also, the font color in general is not Black on facebook Nazieb! I think it’s a dark grey, a very dark grey, but not black! just an observation, I’m on Safari. you can also fix that
finally, the search icon on top, next to the search field is a little bit off position, or oversized.
and the white search field should have a very tiny and classy border, same as facebook.
you’re doing an awesome job! a few steps from Perfection! you can do it!

also Nazieb, the lightbox 2 plugin, which is a very very crucial and important plugin for photos, doesn’t seem to be working with your theme
if the plugin is activated and you click on a picture, instead of it display in an overlay mode in current page, the picture loads in a new page.
you should work this one out too

one annoying problem about the theme is that once you click around the site, the URLs get a “#” stuck in them, and if you ever click the “Home” link, all links you click after that have not only a stray “#”, but they also have your base-URL doubled-up. For example, my URL looked like this after clicking around a few pages:
http://success.grownupgeek.com/#/index.php/2009/07/page/http://success.grownupgeek.com
meaning, the links keep adding up on the URL, with a “#” symbol between them..
I hope you could fix that problem too!
the easy fix of course is to disable AJAX, but in this case, commenting among other features would become impossible!
Also, another simple feature request, I think it has to do with the CSS.
I’d like to see the fields and comments boxes (name, email, website, comment) highlighted when clicked. I think you disabled that somehow, but trust me, the feature is cool, especiaclly on Safari, Firefox and Chrome.

if you try to browse your website, nazieb.com, then click on the home button again, you’ll get:

in the URL, which is a problem! especially the # character in the middle! are you going to fix that in your new update??

Im trying to figure out how to arrange the tabs on the top. how do you arrange the tabs on the top so that it only show the categories you want?
that it only show the categories and always when we click on the except “all” categories just show summary of posts how we can change this i want to show full text pls help
I’ve already use your theme. Nice theme. But, unfortunately some plugin didn’t work on this theme. Such as SI Captcha Anti Spam Plugin, or Comment Validation also.
In Comment Validation plugin, it didn’t work because the extra “#” added symbol in URL. If the “#” gone, it works great. I try to modify it also, but it seems imposible for me because this theme use AJAX or JavaScript within.
But, I hope you could fix this “#” symbol problem. Because, you are the one who create this theme.

The hash sign (#) is needed for bookmarking purpose. If your blog uses AJAX, the URL won’t change if your visitor click a link. Therefore, he/she can’t bookmark the content he/she is viewing because the it will always display your frontpage. That’s why the theme added the hash sign (just like Facebook do if you notice) so when the visitor comes from bookmark link, the theme is able to identify the correct link and redirect him/her there.
If you don’t want the hash sign, you ca disable the AJAX feature on Smells Like Facebook Options page under the WordPress ‘Appearance’ menu.
