Hello folks, in this very end of 2009 year, the newest update of Smells Like Facebook theme is available. Major changes made to this theme including:

  • Fix on unregistered comments. Now if someone which is not registered as member post a comment, no errors will be found.
  • Multiple pages post support. The theme now support posts with multiple pages. The <!–nextpage–> tags will split pages correctly, and links to next and previous page will be available below the post content. Note: this is a compulsory for new theme hosted in WordPress Theme Directory
  • An anchor that with target “_blank” will open the link correctly in new tab / window. There are some reports that in the older version, the link will be opened ajaxly.

You may see that the update of this theme is very slow. The last version, 2.4 was uploaded on July. I’m very sorry about this, since I have a lot of work to do to feed myself. I also got a serious health problem last month, so I can’t focus myself to this theme. But if you intend to give me some penny, I think I’ll quit my job and focusing on this theme, seriously ;) You can send the donation to my paypal. Every donations is very helpful. After all, some bugs may still appear. Please let me know if you encounter one. I’m very happy (and also tired :P ) to see many responses from people about this theme. Thank you for using my work.

  8. Your theme is just gorgeous, but: 1) I get some validation error on the use of text area; 2) there’s a minor problem on second level pages menu (like said above); 3) are you planning to make it localizable? Anyway, again, great work.

    first of all I love your theme! It’s so cool.

    I just got one wish though. Is it possible to get Nextgen Gallery to work with this Smell like facebook theme? The “effect” way to watch the images dosen’t work. That’s a big shame.

    I really hope for a way to get this Nextgen Gallery to work.

    Still. This theme rocks so much.

  25. What a good theme. Btw, could you tell my why the original theme i downloaded couldn’t display hover that show white background when we click the category menu.

  27. Great theme. I’m currently using this at my new blog – Thiek.In. I’ve modified much of the codes too. But I have a serious problem regarding SEO. For some reason, Google is not indexing my site. Could it be a problem with the theme or some settings in my blog?

  29. I love Facebook, and so I love your recent theme. But I don’t think that I’ll use it for my blog. Too many blogs have use it. Of course it is a proof that this light blue giant is so lovely. Great work!!! Keep on blogging!!!

  48. saya coba install (offline, pake xampp) versi sebelumnya tapi ada pesan error seperti ini:

    The solution for Arun’s jquery.js error on IE was for me adding line-height definition to styles.css. This is maybe solution for tenz also?
