Hello folks, in this very end of 2009 year, the newest update of Smells Like Facebook theme is available. Major changes made to this theme including:
- Fix on unregistered comments. Now if someone which is not registered as member post a comment, no errors will be found.
- Multiple pages post support. The theme now support posts with multiple pages. The <!–nextpage–> tags will split pages correctly, and links to next and previous page will be available below the post content. Note: this is a compulsory for new theme hosted in WordPress Theme Directory
- An anchor that with target “_blank” will open the link correctly in new tab / window. There are some reports that in the older version, the link will be opened ajaxly.
You may see that the update of this theme is very slow. The last version, 2.4 was uploaded on July. I’m very sorry about this, since I have a lot of work to do to feed myself. I also got a serious health problem last month, so I can’t focus myself to this theme. But if you intend to give me some penny, I think I’ll quit my job and focusing on this theme, seriously

I am trying to use the SI Captcha with this theme and I am not able to… The users are not able to post comments when using this theme and SI Captcha, since it does not show the CAPTCHA image when entering comments.
Please help. I want to use CAPTCHA with this theme… Else I get flooded with spam messages…

As you stated , even a guest can post a comment , but whenever someone posts a comment on this theme , it redirects the user to error page
, any solutions
The theme breaks under IE: the menus are not reachable + it gives and error in script.js (line 95) + in the admin menus in wp at the backend the widgets are no longer draggable because of a js error.

Hi, will there be a fix to the Url issue coming soon. I love this theme and really want to use it, but I can’t right now because the url gets messed up with the # symbol. thanks

How do I add another sidebar? I want to add a sidebar to the right, just like you’ve done on this page (on this page for ads)
If you’re planning on releasing an update, it would be great if you made it possible to translate it into other languages (with a .po/.mo file) – let the users know if and when it’s ready and I’m sure we’ll all be happy to help with translating it into as many languages as possible.

Oh yeah, and it seems you also have a problem with the theme – when I submitted my comment I got redirected to a page with the text “Not found” (I guess it was the 404).

Hashtag is used to keep bookmarking works on AJAX mode. I’ll make a post to explain about this.
About my blog problem, it seems caused by WordPress 3.0 beta installation. Don’t worry, it’s not about the theme

Installed v2.5 but the righthand sidebar doesn’t work correctly. When I enable right sidebar in options it always appears at top of the page in center rather than at right side where it should be?
Have you any solution for this?

Hi! Theme is great, but I have some problems. I use Simple Facebook Like and with other themes the Facebook like button is seems on every page – index, categories, single, but now is visible only on index page and in signle page – in categories i can not see the Facebook like button. I tried to use other facebook like buttons addons, but is the same problem. I use AdSense – Whydowork Adsense , but can not setting the adsense code visible in categories too. Why is that? Can you help me? I like this theme, but there is something different in Categories settings i think… Thank you! Good luck!

Can I remove the Link at the footer ?
